New incentives could help more drivers lease Mercedes
Thanks to ambitious goals set by Volkswagen's Audi line and the continued performance of BMW on the international stage, the luxury car market has developed into one of the most hotly contested sectors of the automotive industry. Not to be outdone, Mercedes-Benz has announced a new round of
car leasing and loan incentives designed to entice more drivers to opt for the German automaker's high-end wares.
Throughout August, the brand will be continuing its 1.9% APR auto loan financing for 24 to 36 months on most of its vehicles. Though this makes for higher monthly payments, it also means less interest on what can be a major expense, according to Pricewheels.com. Vehicles benefitting from this incentive include the 2010 C-Class, GLK, SLK, M-, R- and E-Class sedans.
Strong deals are also available for prospective lessees, with the 2010 C300 slashing its monthly cost to $349 in an effort to subvert its chief rival, the BMW 328i, which typically leases for $459 per month.
Drivers can also
lease Mercedes' SLK300 for as low as $499 a month over 36 months, or can opt for the more powerful SLK350 for just $100 per month more.
