New details whet the appetites of drivers hoping to lease Mercedes' new CL63 AMG

There's no denying that drivers tend to lease Mercedes for the unique mixture of luxury and performance that have made the brand a market leader in a hotly contested automotive sector. The company is hoping to capture even more drivers' attentions this year by releasing further details on the forthcoming revamp of the CL63 AMG.

The vehicle has been reconceived from the ground up. Though it remains a high-performance coupe, the vehicle has gone many changed both superficially and fundamentally.

According to Auto Week, lessees can look forward to larger headlamps, a newly redesigned grille, a more intricately contoured hood and a reprofiled bumper. The revamped exterior is meant to give the vehicle added curb appeal when placed opposite segment competitors like the Bentley Continental GT and the Aston Martin DB9.

Exteriors are not the only thing being re-imagined, as the vehicle's engine has also been changed to a new twin-turbocharged 5.5-liter V-8 capable of generating 536 horsepower at 5,500 rpm - a significant improvement over the outgoing model. A performance package will also be available boosting the horsepower to 563.ADNFCR-3075-ID-19908136-ADNFCR
