Mercedes leaks pictures of forthcoming CL-Class Coupe
Drivers looking for the apex in luxury and style have long flocked to Mercedes Benz. The stylish German automaker has established itself as one of the finest
cars for lease currently available in the luxury market. While American drivers await the newest batch of vehicles from the lofty designer, Mercedes has leaked preliminary images of the forthcoming CL-Class Coupe long before its due to hit American shores.
The CL Class Coupe, known as the S-Class internationally, is hitting the web this week as preliminary advertisement shots of both the CL and the CL63 AMG found their way into the hands of European autoblog, TeamSpeed.
While the company has refused to confirm or deny the legitimacy of the pictures, test shots captured by MotorTrend magazine seem to confirm the vehicle's authenticity. The pictures give car fans a first glimpse at the vehicle's nose, which had been obscured in the aforementioned shots.
Cosmetic differences aside, TeamSpeed is also reporting that the CL63 AMG will also receive a new engine called the LM157, a 5.5-liter twin-turbo capable of running 544hp, a fare deal better than the current CL63's 518 hp engine.
