Mazda Shinari could be a sign of the future Japanese cars for lease
With the Paris Motor Show just over a month away, many automakers are beginning to reveal their latest designs in anticipation of a broader launch at the prestigious trade show. One company making a bold statement about their future
car leasing offers is Mazda. The emerging Japanese manufacturer recently revealed its brand new sports coupe concept, dubbed the Shinari, and commentators across the automotive industry are celebrating the model as a sign of good things to come.
The sleek and elegant Shinari is a four-door coupe that more closely resembles an Italian sports car than the line's traditional Japanese sedans. Boasting smooth contours and an aluminum signature wing, the vehicle is seen as the forefront of Mazda's new motion-based design philosophy that the company has named Kodo, a Japanese term that means "Soul of Motion," according to the Automotive News.
Though officials have declined to provide any kind of timeline for the vehicle's availability in showrooms, the new design is seen as Mazda's first entrance into more luxurious territory.
"We want to play in the same group as BMW and Audi," Derek Jenkins, director of design for Mazda North America, told the news provider. "On fit and finish we want the same level of quality."
